General Home Inspection
Simply put, a home inspection is a non-invasive examination of the condition of the home. Often it is in direct connect to the sale of that home or property. Usually, they are conducted by highly trained, certified individual or company, and result in a written or digital report of the findings.
Without a home inspection, the buyer(s) can find themselves findings minor and major problems with the home after the purchase has been made: days, weeks or years later. These problems could have been addressed and possibly corrected prior to the purchase of the home. No one wants to purchase a home with unknown catastrophes waiting to happen such as a crumbling foundation, hazardous electrical box, or a little rodent trail. Getting a quality home inspection prior to the purchase can save a buyer from many headaches along the way.

What is Radon?
Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas found in soil that is heavier than air. Radon gas exposure in abnormally high levels is associated with lung cancer. Mitigation measures may involve crawlspace and basement venting and installation of various forms of vapor barriers and fans.
A Seller's Pre-Listing is when the seller has the home inspected prior to the sale. This provides the opportunity to make repairs, or disclose defects when negotiating when selling the home.
11 Month Warranty Inspection
11 Month Warranty Inspections are inspections performed during the 11th month of your 1st year builder warranty. It can be used to identify any builder defects, and every component of your new home is installed and working properly. We will present you with a full detailed report that you can take to the builder for any warranty related issues.
Wood-Destroying Insects (WDI)
The presence of WDI in the structure can present a significant hazard due to structural damage if infestations are undetected and/or left untreated. Such damage could result in the devaluation of a property/structure or substantial costs for repairs. I as a professional WDI inspector have an important role in performing a visual inspection of open and accessible areas and accurately reporting my findings as part of the purchase and transfer of real estate.
